1. Introduction The American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) is a standardized English proficiency exam developed by the Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) . It is primarily used by the U.S. military and allied forces to assess the general English ability of non-native speakers. ALCPT Form 80 refers to a specific version (or "form") of this test.
