The Paradox of Time: Aging Backward in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) is born in New Orleans at the end of World War I, with the physical appearance of an 80-year-old man. Abandoned by his horrified father, he is raised in a nursing home by Queenie (Taraji P. Henson), a kind caregiver. As the years pass, Benjamin grows physically younger while mentally maturing. He falls in love with Daisy (Cate Blanchett), a dancer he meets as a child. Their relationship reaches its peak when they are the same biological age in middle age, only to be torn apart as Benjamin grows too young and Daisy grows old. He eventually dies as an infant in Daisy’s arms. benjamin button videa
