It’s a beautiful and spiritually rewarding question. When asked for the "best" Durud Sharif (also spelled Durood or Salawat ), Islamic scholars agree that while all salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) are virtuous, the are those that were taught by the Prophet (ﷺ) himself or by the Sahaba (companions) as transmitted through authentic hadith. best durood sharif
