A window is a hole in your wall. To support the weight above that hole, there must be a proper header (a horizontal beam). Below the window, the sill must transfer weight down to the foundation. If a lazy contractor skipped the jack studs or nailed the window in without shimming it correctly, the wall above will sag microscopically over time. The result?
