After months of creeping on this sub, I finally pulled the trigger on a used shell pack and slowly pieced together my dream setup. Nothing high-end – Mapex Armory shells, Sabian XSR cymbals, and an old Ludwig Supraphonic snare I found at a garage sale for $50. Still dialing in the tom angles and fighting the urge to buy another crash. Be honest – what’s the first thing you’d change? Also, any tips for reducing floor tom ring without buying new heads yet?
