DAMIEN: Does the opposition have a copy? The Cardinal finally looks up. Tears. CRUZ: They will have it in two hours. Unless you withdraw from the election and call for a transitional council. Peacefully.
Damien Sosa, alone in his cell, teaching his daughter Sofia how to play chess through a glass partition. She moves a pawn. He smiles. He doesn't tell her she's already lost. [END OF S02E07: HDRip]
The sun is higher now. A crowd of supporters waves flags below, unaware. Damien stands alone, looking down. His teenage daughter, SOFIA, bursts through the balcony door. SOFIA: The Cardinal is on TV. He says you’re a sinner. Mom is crying. DAMIEN: (Softly) Do you know what power is, mija? SOFIA: Making people afraid? DAMIEN: No. It’s making people believe you’re afraid. So they lower their knives. He hugs her. Over her shoulder, he sees two military police officers in the reflection of the glass door. They are waiting.
A guard slides a tray of food through a slot. On the tray is a folded note. Damien opens it.
