Full House (Korean title: 풀하우스 ) is a landmark South Korean romantic comedy drama that aired on KBS2 in 2004. Starring two of the biggest Hallyu (Korean Wave) stars of the era, Song Hye-kyo and Rain (Jung Ji-hoon), the series is widely credited with popularizing the "contract marriage" trope and spreading the Korean drama craze across Asia and beyond.

Upon her return and discovery of the betrayal, Ji-eun is homeless and furious. Young-jae, who despises the press, offers her a deal: she can continue living in the house if she agrees to a contract marriage with him. He needs a fake wife to make his secret crush jealous, and she needs a place to live. The two bickering opposites then enter into a chaotic cohabitation filled with slapstick arguments, jealousy, and the inevitable development of real feelings.

While modern viewers might find some of Young-jae’s early behavior outdated (extreme jealousy, yelling), the drama remains beloved for its nostalgic charm, iconic scenes (the "I love you" chalkboard scene, the trip to the beach), and its pure, heartwarming ending.

Full House is often called a "classic" and a "must-watch" for any K-drama fan. It cemented Song Hye-kyo’s status as a top actress (later known for Descendants of the Sun , Encounter ) and launched Rain’s acting career alongside his music stardom. The actual house set, built on a studio lot, became a tourist attraction for years.

The story follows Han Ji-eun (Song Hye-kyo), a naive and cheerful aspiring screenwriter who lives in "Full House," a beautiful traditional-meets-modern house built by her late father. When her two best friends trick her into believing she won a free vacation, she leaves for Shanghai. While she is away, they sell her house to Lee Young-jae (Rain), a top movie star known for his arrogance and short temper.
