In the DSRIP version, during the scene where Sam explains D&D to the ghosts, you can see a chalkboard behind her with Jay’s restaurant notes — including “ghost-proof salt” crossed out. Such a great background gag.
Is this episode more about the comedy of playing D&D with ghosts, or the deeper theme of the ghosts learning to be vulnerable with a living person? And does anyone else tear up a little when Thor finally rolls the dice? 🎲👻
