“Someone should remember them.” Act One The next morning, a construction crew (unseen, just noise) accidentally hits an old power line while digging a new foundation for the B&B’s expansion. Lights flicker. A loud POP —then the laptop screen goes black.

The camera pulls back. The ghosts fade into the warm glow of the Woodstone living room—not disappearing, but settling . Not sucked off. Not erased. Just… held.
