Kent Mango Season [top] May 2026

The Kent’s firm flesh holds up beautifully against acid and spice. Toss julienned strips with lime juice, red chili flakes, fish sauce, and fresh cilantro. The sweetness of the Kent tames the fire, creating a perfect balance.

Because the Kent is less watery than other varieties, it caramelizes beautifully. Brush cut halves with a little honey or chili oil and throw them on a hot grill for 2 minutes per side. Serve with vanilla ice cream or as a side to grilled pork. kent mango season
