The goal was to convert an outdated, compartmentalized building into a for architecture, integrating analog craftsmanship with digital fabrication.

The building serves primarily as the headquarters for RPI’s , one of the oldest and most respected architecture programs in the United States. It is named in honor of Greene Family , significant benefactors to RPI. 2. History & Renovation Originally constructed in the mid-20th century as an engineering research building, the structure underwent a complete, transformative renovation completed in 2009 . The $30 million project was designed by the renowned architectural firm EskewDumezRipple (formerly Eskew+Dumez+Ripple) in collaboration with RPI faculty and administration. rpi greene building
