While the LGBTQ+ rights movement has long fought for the freedom to love who we love, the transgender community has also fought for the freedom to live authentically as who we are—in every part of life: at work, at school, at the doctor’s office, and on the street.
LGBTQ+ culture is not fully itself without the transgender community. To stand for queer rights is to stand for trans rights—fully, loudly, and without exception.

The transgender community is not a separate movement—it is a vital, vibrant part of the larger LGBTQ+ family. Yet, within that family, trans voices, histories, and needs have their own unique and powerful story.
