Sneeuwwitje de Musical is a polished, safe, and effective piece of children’s theatre. It does exactly what Studio 100 intended: sell tickets, keep kids happy, and move plush dwarfs at the merch stand. It will not challenge, surprise, or move you. But for a rainy Sunday afternoon with a five-year-old in a princess dress, it is a perfectly adequate magic mirror reflecting the expected image.

The Queen role is the true star vehicle. In the production reviewed, (a notable drag performer and musical actor) played the Queen in some tours, adding a layer of cabaret camp that delighted parents while going over children’s heads.
