This is a reference-grade catalog title. The transfer is clean (grain is intact, no nasty DNR), the color timing is perfectly moody, and the lack of buffering or adaptive bitrate drops keeps you fully immersed.

On BD50, the close-ups during the interrogation scenes are brutal. The disc’s high-bitrate encoding captures the micro-expressions—the twitch of a lip, the reddening of an eye—that streaming codecs typically smear away. It feels less like watching TV and more like sitting behind the two-way mirror. While video is king, the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track on this BD50 deserves a special mention.
