Zoolux - Eternum

The last true forest died in 2087. Not with a fire, but with a sigh. The final wild oak crumbled into dust, and humanity, now living in pressurized arcologies, accepted the new law of the Earth: nothing grows without a permit.

Outside, the arcologies went dark.

And for the first time in a century, something wild moved across the face of the Earth. Not flesh. Not light. Something in between. Something that would not be caged again. zoolux eternum
